Anyone can be your target.

Hitman: Absolution

Perhaps one of the best things about the Hitman franchise is finding a way to stealthily eliminate your target. The process of stalking them, figuring out their movements and killing them in the most creative and quiet way you can think of is a fun one.

With Hitman: Absolution, the devs are looking to extend that process to every single NPC in the game. Essentially, players will be able to create their own contracts on any NPC in the campaign. Anyone. Any passerby, any guard, anyone. The players create the terms of the kill and share their contract online.

And, bingo, you have a community driven wealth of options for gamers to experience. Once the campaign in Hitman: Absolution stops, players will be able to dive back into the mode of hunting mysterious enemies whenever they want.

It sounds promising. It even looks great. Here's an 18 minute playthrough of the Contracts mode.
