With the attention on Tuesday solely being on the spectacle that was Monday Night Football, it's probably safe to say that the NFL has lost any leverage it had in the negotiations with the regular referees. This entire weekend showed us just how much the replacements need to go back to where they came from and Monday night was just the icing on the cake.

In case Commisioner Roger Goodell isn't exactly on board with booting the replacement refs, he should read the rapid reactions that numerous players and journalist had on a travesty that will never be forgotten.

*ESPN and Grantland writer Bill Simmons (@sportsguy33): "Mike McCarthy should have run back out on the field naked from the waist down."

*Green Bay Packers guard T.J. Lang (@TJLang70): "Got f***** by the refs.. Embarrassing. Thanks nfl"

*Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban (@mcuban): "I would love to see what my reaction would be if a Mavs game ended like #MNF. #Expensive #NBAtime"
