Saints Row: The Third

THQ has announced, by way of a press release that found its way into our inbox, a brand new bundle for Saints Row: The Third. They're calling it the "Full Package," and we can't blame them. It will cost $49; here's what it includes, straight from the email.

The premiere edition of Saints Row: The Third – The Full Package includes the award-winning, critically-acclaimed, almost universally lauded Saints Row: The Third; the three downloadable mission packs Genkibowl VII, Gangstas In Space, and The Trouble With Clones; and more than 30 bonus DLC items from such hits as the Shark Attack pack, Witches & Wieners pack, Special Operations pack, and the Genki Girl Vehicle pack. With every weapon, every vehicle, and every outfit ever created for Saints Row: The Third, players will go over the top, off the reservation, and to places where no decent game should go.

Which brings me to this thought…is this collection worth the $49 price tag?

Well, if you fancy yourself a fun of over-the-top mayhem and think you'll enjoy every ounce of gameplay this package has to offer, then, yes. $49 is solid for the full game and a ton of extra content.

However, know that the original game itself can be found for a lot less. There's a lot to do in just-plain-Saints Row: The Third, and that comes without even buying a single piece of DLC.

If you think you'll cover the full game and want more, go for this bundle. Totally worth the price of admission. But, if you'd rather spend 20-30 hours in one offering, buy the game alone.
