Dishonored

Since the beginning, potential players have been told that Dishonored is a game built around choice and consequence. This is typically marketing buzz that surrounds most products, regardless of how much genuine choice and consequence is actually present.

As such, we've become a bit immune to the notion that we'll actually have an impact on the virtual world and narrative we try to experience.

That hasn't stopped Arkane Studios, the devs behind Dishonored, from making choice and freedom the basis for their entire game. Hopefully, they aren't exaggerating in the slightest. Here's another dev diary about the big picture that is Dishonored.

Dishonored's official launch date approaches. The game will ship for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC platforms on October 9th in North America. Australia and Spain will see it on the 11th, while the bulk of Europe (not that Australia is part of Europe…) will have it on the 12th.

Will you be picking this one up?
