If you haven't noticed yet, the folks at DICE are releasing their Battlefield 3 multiplayer packs in distinct themes. Close Quarters was, hold on to your hats, about close quarter combat settings.
The newest one? Armored Kill. Perhaps not nearly as obvious, this pack will be centered around huge, open environments and vehicular slaughter. It sounds awesome.
It looks even better.
What's new in this pack? Here's part of the description for the video above:
Prepare for all-out vehicle warfare with Armored Kill! This trailer features never before seen gameplay from all four maps in Armored Kill — from the beautiful snow-capped Alborz Mountains to the biggest map in Battlefield history, Bandar Desert.
Armored Kill features four new maps, six new vehicles with 20 unlocks, the new Tank Superiority game mode, and more.
I read all of that as, "there's gonna be tons of sweet stuff here, and you'll be able to drive it and shoot it at everything, ever."
Armored Kill is slated to drop on the Xbox 360 and PC on September 11th. If you game on the PlayStation 3, you already have it. Congrats.
