In the world of comedy podcasts dominated by interview-style formats or very niche gimmicks it is extremely refreshing to have yourself a listen to Vomit on the Web by comics and all around comedy renaissance women Ingrid and Melissa.

The concept is simple: these ladies take their expertise of what’s funny on the web, coupled with smart, fun, irreverent life philosophy and bring it to you, the listener. These gals break down the newest YouTube videos, what’s interesting on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram (all the stuff we hate, but can’t get enough of) and put their spin on it.

What do you get out of it? Some damn fine entertainment. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love sense of self-worth you get by discovering cool things before your friends. This is one of those.

What works: The chemistry between the two hosts is great. Some of the most natural quick wit we’ve heard in a long time. The show is very interactive, as both fans and hosts have a chance to tweet and/or message during the show. And as people continue to throw every iota of their personal lives up on the web, these ladies will always have something funny to say.

Bottom Line: Get in on the ground floor. These ladies should be a welcome addition to your weekly line-up audio entertainment!
