The fourth season of "Sons of Anarchy" built the long simmering conflict between Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) and Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman) to an intense crescendo as Jax learned the truth about Clay's role in the death of his father, John Teller, as well as Clay's part in the assassination attempt on Jax's fiancee, Tara Knowles (Maggie Siff) and the way that Clay had brutalized Gemma (Katey Sagal) and murdered Piney (William Lucking).
In short, a lot of people wanted Clay dead… and they still do. However, Clay scored a reprieve when Jax learned that he needed his step-father alive to preserve a deal with the IRA and keep his fellow SAMCRO members out of jail.
On Tuesday, August 28, "Sons of Anarchy Season 4" will be released on DVD and Blu-ray. To celebrate the upcoming release, Fox TV has sent us an exclusive clip from one of the bonus featurettes in which "Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter explains where the fourth season fits in his overall plans for the series before Katey Sagal briefly talks about Gemma's complicated relationship with Clay.
"Sons of Anarchy" season 5 will roll into FX on Tuesday, September 11.
