Pete Carroll Rambles About Quarterback Wilson

The Seahawks head coach talks to reporters about what he likes about his rookie quarterback, further proving that no one really knows what is going on in Seattle.

He started Matt Hasselbeck…he got injured too much.

He started Charlie Whitehurst…his QB rating was 64.6.

He started Tarvaris Jackson…he had almost as many INTs as TDs (38 to 35).

You can tell by the look on his face and in the tone of his voice that Pete Carroll knows he's on the hot seat if this year's QB situation doesn't pan out. The coach and VP of the Seahawks, Carroll has made countless gutsy calls — most would probably call errors — with team personel in his two years in Seattle. After signing Matt Flynn to a three year deal with $26 million in the off-season, it now looks like they might give the starting gig to rookie Russell Wilson.

Carroll rants about Wilson in this video, but also says that Flynn is ahead of Wilson when it comes to poise.

Ten bucks says Tim Tebow suits up in Seattle before Thanksgiving.

It's a great time to be a Seattle fan.
