Spider-Men #5: The Ultimate Ultimate Crossover

Take a first look at the final issue in Marvel's laid-back crossover between its two big universes.

Spider-Men #5

Brian Michael Bendis' Spider-Men, the first big crossover between the main Marvel Universe and its Ultimate counterpart has actually been a fairly laid-back and relaxed affair, mostly full of emotion and chit-chat between our Spider-Man and his Ultimate family and friends. Occasionally, they remember that they're trying to track down the dimension-hopping Mysterio, but for the most part, it's been fairly chill.

That might change in the final issue of the miniseries, when they finally take on Mysterio – with the help of the Ultimates, and Peter Parker has to figure out how to get back home. Will he tell Ultimate Nick Fury that his marketing efforts might work better if he changes his superteam's name to the Avengers? Or will we forever be lucky enough to have a comic book series entitled Ultimate Comics Ultimates?

Check out this Sara Pichelli art from Spider-Men #5, due out next month.
