Today, PopCap announced via press release that a sequel to their popular lawn defense title, Plants vs. Zombies, is in the works. The title will be launching in the first half of 2013, specifically late spring if all goes well.
Unfortunately, we know little else about the proposed sequel. For example, what systems will it be coming too? Will there be new plant and zombie types? (Probably) And, most importantly, will Crazy Dave be available to help out this time? PopCap plans to share those details at a later date. For now, we wait.
To end their press announcement, PopCap brought in an undisclosed spokesperson to share a few words. "Spring is
crullest curlie ungood time, and plantz grow dull roots," noted an unidentified spokesperson. "So, we are meating you for brainz at yore house. No worry to skedule schedlue plan… we're freee anytime. We'll find you."
See you next spring for more Plants vs. Zombies goodness.
