There's a war between humans and vampires coming on "True Blood," and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) may be the only one left who can prevent it.
Ever since Lilith (Jessica Clark) appeared to Eric, Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare) and various members of the Vampire Authority, the mainstream agenda of peaceful relations with humans has given way to the bloodthirsty philosophy of the Sanguinistas. And as Salome (Valentina Cervi), Rosalyn Harris (Carolyn Hennesy), Kibwe (Peter Mensah) and Nora (Lucy Griffiths) made plans to wipe out the mainstream holdouts, Bill shocked everyone by suggesting that the True Blood factories in America be destroyed in order to force every vampire to feed on humans to survive.
Our first preview clip from the new episode of "True Blood" takes place shortly after that scene, as Eric confronts Bill over his suggestion and he learns that Bill isn't just faking his enthusiasm for Lilith's teachings… he's embracing them.
Meanwhile, Sookie Stackhouse ( Anna Paquin) and her brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) have been searching for Warlow, a vampire who killed their parents decades ago. Now that Sookie knows the truth, Warlow may also be hunting her as well. For the second preview clip, Sookie turns to Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis) for help figuring out what message her late grandmother intended as a clue about the night her parents died.
This week's synopsis has more spoilers than usual, so you may just want to skip down to the final preview video.
Salome and the Chancellors celebrate the start of the vampire holy war. Sookie gets a hint about her parents' murder but anti-supernatural enthusiasts put her in danger. Eric plans his escape.
