This is what arrived in my mailbox from Marvel today.

Marvel Now Deadpool

The accompanying email only identified Brian Posehn, Gerry Duggan and Tony Moore.

This can only mean that Posehn, the popular Comedian of Comedy and veteran of Mr. Show and The Sarah Silverman Program, and fellow comedy writer Duggan will be teaming up with Moore, the artist who has done recent work on Venom and Punisher as well as legendary work like Battle Pope, are going to be taking over for the departing Daniel Way on Deadpool once the Marvel NOW movement hits this fall.

You see, 'chimichangas' refers to a running gag back during the Fabien Nicieza run on Cable & Deadpool, before Way split Wade Wilson's inner voice into two voices, and that one inner voice just liked to say 'chimichanga' a lot. It can mean no one other than Deadpool.

Posehn is a longtime comic book fan and a great comedy writer, and he and Duggan teamed up before for a six-issue Image Comics series called The Last Christmas, which was a combination of Santa Claus and The Road Warrior. So it will be VERY interesting to see how he rolls on The Merc With a Mouth. Will he keep Way's tone, will he hearken back to the golden age of Joe Kelly's original run, or will we go in an all-new, all-metal direction, as he's also a noted metalhead? Whichever way it goes, it's going to bring Deadpool's profile even higher. And maybe then, that long-rumored, long-stalled Deadpool movie could even happen.

Just to drive the idea home further about how awesome this could be, here's a look at the failed pilot from yesteryear Posehn made with Duggan and Patton Oswalt called Super Nerds.
