Run Lola Run Star Comes To ‘American Horror Story’ Season 2

Franka Potente will appear in two episodes of the new season of FX's supernatural series.

Another day, another fresh victim for "American Horror Story."
TVLine is reporting that Franka Potente is the latest addition to the "American Horror Story" season 2 cast. Potente will appear in two episodes as one of the patients at the insane asylum run by Jessica Lange's character.
Potente is a German actress who achieved international acclaim as the star of Run Lola Run before she went on to appear opposite Matt Damon in The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy. Potente has also starred in The Princess and the Warrior, Blow, The Elementary Particles, Creep and the Anatomy horror films. On television, Potente has made guest appearances on "The Shield" and "Psych," in addition to her starring turn in the upcoming BBC America original series, "Copper." 
Among the large cast of "American Horror Story" season 2, Adam Levine and Jenna Dewan will portray a pair of characters known as "The Lovers," while James Cromwell will play Dr. Arden, who is on staff at the asylum. Joseph Finnes will portray the head doctor, with Chloë Sevigny playing a sex addict and French actress Lizzie Brocheré as a "extremely sexual, and dangerous wild-child sexpot" who will be a rival to Lange's character.
Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe will also return to "American Horror Story" in currently unrevealed roles.
"American Horror Story" season 2 is expected to begin in October on FX.
