Yahoo! has taken a lot of flack in recent years for being the MySpace to Google's Facebook, but one area where they've always been pretty solid is the entertainment division. Now, they're attempting to tap the digital comics crowd by bringing Liquid Comics' Dinosaurs vs. Aliens to life, a graphic novel created by Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld and written by current Action Comics scribe Grant Morrison, featuring art from Mukesh Singh. The story follows an alien invasion of Earth during the age of the dinosaurs, and the revelation that these thunder lizards were much more intelligent than we might have ever guessed.

In other techno-comic news, while we've seen some hype for the upcoming iPad graphic novel INFEX, Cognito Comics has already had an interactive comic called CIA: Operation Ajax built for the iPad, and they're now going to try bringing it to the iPhone as well for $2.99. It tells the story about the 1953 coup d'etat of Iran masterminded by the Central Intelligence Agency and the British government to stage a revolution against Iran's prime minister.
Here are a few pages from CIA: Operation Ajax.
