It's the decompression time after San Diego Comic-Con, and we've got a rundown of the cool stuff we found out at the panels. Welcome to the 107th edition of The Book Report podcast – unfortunately fraught with annoying sound problems thanks to the Skype connection, but if you can power through the weirdness, you'll get some new information from SDCC reporter Andy Hunsaker and some solid comic book recommendations – not to mention Iann Robinson's unexpected rant against the concept of "steampunk."

Among the books reviewed are Before Watchmen: Minutemen, Captain America, Avenging Spider-Man, Batman, Punk Rock Jesus, New Avengers, Dark Avengers/Thunderbolts, Uncanny X-Force, Venom, Scarlet Spider and SPAAAAAAAAACE PUNISHERRRRRRRRRR! Not to mention that little thing you may have heard of called Walking Dead #100. That was kind of a big deal.
