Earlier this season on "True Blood," Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) and Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) successfully managed to get the Vampire Authority to spare their lives in return for their aid in finding Russell Edgington (Denis O'Hare); whom they neglected to kill years ago.
But finding Russell is easier said than done, as Bill and Eric couldn't figure out who even knew Russell was alive beyond Pam (Kristin Bauer) and Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello). Eric even released Pam from his dominion because he assumed that if Russell didn't kill him soon, it would be the Authority itself that would give him the true death.
In the first preview scene, Bill and Eric get a call from the Authority's minion, Molly (Tina Majorino); who gleefully informs them that their iStakes have been activated.
For the second preview scene, we briefly catch up with newly turned vampire, Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley) in Fangtasia. Pam has recently taken a more affectionate tact towards Tara in her attempts to get Tara to embrace her new afterlife. But it may be Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) who finally gets Tara to see the brighter side of living forever.
As usual, here is HBO's description for the new episode along with another trailer:
With time running short, Bill and Eric enlist Sookie to probe for clues on Russell’s hiding place. Unable to deal with the demon magic inside him, Lafayette calls out to Jesus’ spirit for help. Patrick Devins (Scott Foley) and Terry are held hostage in a bunker belonging to their Iraq War buddy Brian Eller (Brian Geraghty). Jason wakes to a disturbing dream; Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) gives Tara advice on adjusting to vampire life; Sam visits Luna (Janina Gavankar) with bad news.
Don't miss "True Blood," this Sunday on HBO!
