In just under twenty four hours, HBO will take us back to the land of Westros for "Game of Thrones" season two.
Based upon George R. R. Martin's acclaimed "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series, the much anticipated second season of "Game of Thrones" will follow the War of Five Kings, as several players make their claim for the Iron Throne of Westros.
Currently sitting on the Iron Throne is King Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson), a cruel and possibly insane child with a thirst power and a vindictive streak towards anyone with the misfortune to have even slightly offended him. In the preview video below, Jack Gleeson shares his insights into Joffrey's character as Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey weigh in as well.
Facing Joffrey and the forces of the Lannister family is Robb Stark (Richard Madden), the newly crowed King of the North who has led his people in rebellion against Joffrey's rule after the public execution of Robb's father, Ned Stark (Sean Bean). This season on "Game of Thrones," Robb must continue to step forward as king and serve not only his family but the army that follows him. In the preview video below, Richard Madden explains what that means for his alter ego and where his duty lies.
"Game of Thrones" season 2 will premiere tomorrow, April 01 on HBO.
