In an interview with CVG, one of Crytek's developers, Nick Button-Brown, teased something big coming down the pipe for the home console and PC market. Crytek is apparently planning a April reveal for the mystery title.

"You know about Homefront [2], you know about Ryse." said Button-Brown. "We are working on another project… [laughs] all three of which are looking really good."

Button-Brown continued, "The other project looks absolutely fantastic – I mean, genuinely the best of that kind of project we've ever done… It looks spectacular, the team are doing really, really well and it's just really nice to see the team really enthusiastic about what they're doing. They're really happy."

Could this be a new open-world shooter from Crytek that surpasses their work on the first Far Cry and Crysis games? We've got our fingers crossed that it's a new TimeSplitters title. Well, either way, we'll know for sure next month when Crytek reveals those deets.

Until then, speculate away!
