Last Sunday on "The Walking Dead," Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) finally had his long awaited confrontation with Shane Walsh (Jon Bernthal) over Shane's affair with Rick's wife, Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies), Shane's murder of Otis (Pruitt Taylor Vince) to save Rick's son, Carl (Chandler Riggs) and Shane's lingering obsession with Rick's family.
Also at stake was the life of Randall (Michael Zegen), a young man from another group of survivors that came into conflict with Rick before Randall was injured and abandoned and later saved by Rick. Although Rick and Shane had a vicious fight over Randall's fate that was interrupted by a horde of walkers, things don't look good for Randall's long term survival.
In the first of two photos from this week's episode, "Judge, Jury, Executioner" we see Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn), who appears to be a little bit more pensive than usual. Perhaps it's because he's the only one advocating that Randall be spared.
And in second photo, we see Carl walking in the woods in a scene that seems reminiscent of an early issue of "The Walking Dead" comic book series. Hmm… I wonder if Carl will see anything interesting out there…
For this week's preview clip, AMC has released a nearly two minute scene featuring Dale and Shane arguing over Randall's fate. The tone is actually civil between them, but don't count on that lasting long.
The synopsis for this week's episode suggests that Dale may be on the losing side of this argument… and that someone should keep a better eye on Carl.
Episode 2.11 – Judge, Jury, Executioner
"Rick sides with Shane causing Dale to worry that the group is losing its humanity; Carl's actions have unintended consequences."
AMC has also unveiled a behind-the-scenes video from episode 10, "18 Miles Out;" which examines the continuing rift between Rick and Shane.
Don't miss the new episode of "The Walking Dead," this Sunday night at 9pm on AMC!
