First Modern Warfare 3 DLC (Finally) Comes to PS3 in Late February

… as long as you’re an Elite subscriber, of course.

Good news, all you PlayStation gamers. Activision has finally announced when PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 players can expect the first content drop of downloadable content for their $50 subscription to Call of Duty Elite. And, luckily, it’s not too far away.

The first batch of Modern Warfare 3 DLC will land on PlayStation 3 on February 28th for Elite subscribers. The pack contains two multiplayer maps — “Liberation” and “Piazza.” Non-Elite subscribers will have to wait until the first series of content drops are compiled into a bundle for release in a few months.

We’re going to guess that that will be after March, since Xbox 360 owners get Call of Duty content first, and that initial bundle is hitting the 360 in March. It then stands to reason that the bundle will hit PS3 a few weeks after that point. We're very good at figuring this stuff out…

That’s all, carry on.
