When it rains, it pours. Kotaku has gone live with a new rumor concerning another EA Games franchise. This time we’re talking about the bromantic Army of Two.
The website is reporting a third Army of Two title is in the works by EA Montreal (not really all that surprising), this time sporting four-player cooperative play (OK, that’s pretty rad). It’s also being reported that much like the Dragon Age multiplayer game, this new Army of Two, supposedly called Army of Four (get it?), will run on EA’s Frostbite 2 engine.
Past Army of Two titles have followed the adventures of lead characters Tyson Rios and Elliot Salem as they go about murdering people and blowing shit up for money. Oh, they also love to give each other high fives. If Army of Four game sports 4-player co-op, we’re interested to see what new characters are introduced into the mix. Will we get a female sandwiched between all the bro love (kind of like Gears of War 3 did), or will Army of Four be a total sausage fest?
If EA officially announces Army of Four, we’ll let you know.
