Today, Sony has announced on their official PlayStation Blog a way for consumers to get a PlayStation Vita early. Does it involve selling your soul to the devil? No. Thankfully, the process is rather simple: you just have to head to one of the participating retailers and pre-order the “First Edition Bundle” for $349.99 ($299.99 in Canada). By doing so, you’ll be able to walk into the store and snag your Vita on February 15, 2012, a whole week before the system officially launches on February 22.

The PS Vita “First Edition Bundle” comes with the Vita handheld system (3G + Wi-Fi model), a limited edition case, 4GB PS Vita Memory Card and the Little Deviants game. In Canada, the bundle includes a Wi-Fi-only model of Vita, a case, 4GB Memory Card and Little Deviants.

So when can you pre-order your PS Vita to take advantage of the early release? Right now, actually. So head over to the link above to find out what stores in your area are taking part in the promotion, and then go pre-order your Vita. Easy peasy.
