The release of Gears of War 3 is right around the corner. Hopefully you’ve read our Gears 3 review and know just how awesome the game is and plan to pick it up on Tuesday of next week. If that’s what you’re aiming to do, know that Epic Games intends to have plenty of weapon-modifying DLC available for purchase on launch day. 22 pieces to be exact, reports MTV Multiplayer.

Epic has confirmed with the online publication that on day one of Gears 3’s launch there will be a slew of downloadable weapon skins available for players to purchase in either singles or packages. These modifications are purely cosmetic, allowing you to change the look of your default weapons (Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Shotgun, Sawed-Off) in the game’s multiplayer component to fit your unique style.

As of the time of posting this article, prices have not been detailed. You can expect that information soon however. In the meantime, you can check out the full listing of weapon skins that will be made available below. We have our eyes firmly set on the “Deadly Cute” print.
