The guy who was chopped into a billion pieces probably has an identical twin or something...

Surprising news today: Colin Salmon is coming back from the dead. Not the usual "We Couldn't Find The Body" kind of resurrection, either… Salmon, better known as the guy who was chopped into a billion pieces by a ridiculous laser grid in Paul W.S. Anderson's first Resident Evil, has more of an uphill battle this time.

Shock Till You Drop caught wind of Salmon's Twitter account, where he announced the following: "Confirmed I will be shooting new Resident Evil movie. Paul Anderson has written an amazing script."

How's this going to work? Well, either it's a flashback, a clone, a twin brother, or Salmon's going to reassemble himself Christine-style in one of the most disgusting cinematic sequences this side of Salo.

Salmon you may recall is the debonair character actor whom Paul W.S. Anderson loves killing with grids for some reason, having died via checkered slicing devices in both Resident Evil and Alien vs. Predator. He also played a recurring MI6 member in Pierce Brosnan's James Bond movies, and similar badasses in Punisher: War Zone and The Bank Job.

CraveOnline will be back with more Resident Evil: Retribution news after we hide Ashley Graham in a dumpster. And leave her there.
