The end of the third season of Sons of Anarchy found Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam), his step-father, Clay Morrow (Ron Perlman), Tig (Kim Coates) and other core members of SAMCRO behind bars to serve a 14 month reduced sentence for weapons charges.
And although Jax had patched up his relationship with Tara (Maggie Siff) while she was pregnant with his second son, he didn't know that Tara had come into possession of letters from his father, John Teller that implicated Clay and Gemma (Katey Sagal) in John's death.

When the action picks up over a year later, the Sons are going to find that a lot has changed in Charming since they were put away. Jacob Hale (Jeff Kober) is now mayor, Wayne Unser (Dayton Callie) is ailing and the new Sheriff of Charming,  Eli Roosevelt (Rockmond Dunbar) is gunning for SAMCRO.

In this newly released preview from the fourth season premiere, we see Jax, Clay and the rest get their first taste of freedom while Tara ponders what to do with the letters from Ireland. One of the incarcerated Sons also gets a "special delivery" in solitary confinement.

"Sons of Anarchy" will return to FX with its fourth season premiere on Tuesday, September 06 with a 90 minute episode.
