Welcome to the first post-DC reboot edition of The Book Report, Crave Online's comic book podcast, with your hosts Andy Hunsaker and Iann Robinson!
Here, we cover DC's only two publications this week – Flashpoint #5 and Justice League #1, which heralds the beginning of the DCnU. There is some hope and some positivity here for the New 52 and especially the return of the Justice Society, very little love for Flashpoint (as you might expect), but we're back into the positive realms when talking about Greg Pak's swan song for his stellar Hulk run with The Incredible Hulks #635, as well as our continued gushing over Dan Slott's Amazing Spider-Man and the Spider Island saga. We've also got love for Rick Remender's Uncanny X-Force #14, IDW's new Rocketeer Adventures and Iann even has some mighty big praise for Matt Fraction and his work on The Mighty Thor, wondering where that guy is for Fear Itself. We also manage to work in some chatter about what the hell George Lucas is doing to Star Wars and Iann's tattoo habits.
