Has ‘Breaking In’ Risen Again?

Reports emerge that the undead Fox comedy series may have just gotten a second season.

In 2009, Fox declined to order "Breaking In" to series and yet it improbably reemerged during the following season for a seven episode run following "American Idol," the network's biggest hit. And although Fox put the stake in the heart of the series and canceled "Breaking In" last May, it may be back yet again.

Deadline is reporting that "Breaking In" is on the verge of getting a 13 episode second season to premiere at midseason.

"Breaking In" stars Bret Harrison ("Reaper") as a brilliant hacker who is forcibly recruited to a high profile security firm led by Christian Slater's "Oz" Osbourne. Odette Annable, Michael Rosenbaum, Trevor Moore and Alphonso McAuley also co-star in the series.

Additionally, Annable's recent contract to appear in "House" will allow her to return to the series along with the entire original cast.

I don't normally break out the editorial voice in the news items, but I have to point out that "Breaking In" was a horrible show. It just wasn't funny and it was nearly as bad as "Perfect Couples." The pilot episode of "Breaking In" was atrocious and it didn't get any better from there. It also earned the number 2 slot under last season's Ten Canceled Series We Won't Miss.

I understand that every show has its fans, but what is it about "Breaking In" that keeps it coming back from the grave without justifying its existence?!

At this point, I'm beginning to think that Bret Harrison really is the son of the devil…

How do you feel about the potential return of "Breaking In"? Feel free to agree or disagree with me, that's what the comment section is for!
