You’ve probably seen Godfrey In “Zoolander” or on VH-1’s “I Love The (fill in the blank),” but now you can catch Godfrey’s new special “Black by Accident” on Comedy Central later this month.

Check out a clip:

In his first one-hour Comedy Central special, filmed at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC, Godfrey covers a wide range of hilarious material such as being “ass-raped by cold wind” to “foreign national anthems.” But, the best thing about watching Godfrey perform is that he’s comic jack-of-all-trades. He’s a skilled impressionist, agile physical storyteller, and a keen observer.

Godfrey’s charming persona and comedic style add to the smooth transitions, with material ranging from the basic relationship problems, to race, to nationalism, and to fear of the homeless. If you’ve seen Godfrey’s face on television from time to time and you enjoy his stuff, then you don’t want to miss his special. Also, anyone that wants to check out a fresh comedic voice that isn’t gimmicky, cheesy, or over-the-top then you’ll also want to give this special a look. You won’t be sorry.

You can find his special on Saturday, August 27th  at 11pm, on Comedy Central.
