EA Sports has just announced a new soccer game called FIFA Street, which is in development at EA Canada, the same folks who create the yearly, critically-acclaimed FIFA titles. FIFA Street is scheduled to drop in 2012 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
The game is being developed with the same physics and gameplay engine that powers the regular FIFA series, but is inspired by street soccer styles and stars from around the globe. FIFA Street will also introduce Street Ball Control, allowing you access to a plethora of new dribbling techniques and trick moves. You’ll also be able to perform aerial skills to get past your opponents.
FIFA Street will feature 35 locations, ranging from parking lots to urban sprawls. As far as game modes are concerned, you can except everything from 1v1 matches to 5v5 tournaments. Finally, FIFA Street will be part of EA Sports’ Season Ticket program.
We’ll be back with more on FIFA Street when it becomes available.
