Activision and Treyarch have officially announced a fourth DLC add-on pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops. The “Rezurrection” DLC will launch first for Xbox 360 on August 23, 2011. The new add-on content focuses on Black Ops’ zombie multiplayer mode and includes a brand new “Moon” level, as well as four remastered Zombie levels. Purchasers of “Rezurrection” will also receive an enhanced Zombies soundtrack with three never-before-heard tracks and a Zombies “Moon” theme for their Xbox 360. Yes, theme… sold!

Here’s the official rundown of content being included in the DLC:

  • The all new Moon level
  • Four re-mastered levels of Zombie lore: Nacht der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Der Riese, the Zombie factory that started it all
  • An enhanced Zombies Soundtrack including three tracks never before available for purchase
  • A new Zombies Moon theme

If you bought into the Hardened or Prestige Editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops, then you already have the four remastered Zombie levels. If that’s the case, then you can download the Moon level, soundtrack and Moon theme at no additional charge. For everyone else, the “Rezurrection” DLC will cost the standard 1200 MS Points.

Finally, to celebrate the upcoming release of “Rezurrection,” Activision and Treyarch will be hosting a Double XP weekend over the Labor Day holiday weekend. Woot!
