The fine folks at Sucker Punch have released the first user-generated content pack for InFamous 2. The best part of this news: it’s free!

You can hop onto the PlayStation Network right now to download the first UGC pack from the PlayStation Store at no extra cost. The pack adds quite a few vehicles from the single player game, such as Bertrand’s limo, Bertrand’s semi-truck, the New Marais Police Car, an Ambulance and a bike, as well as the Vermaak 88 Ice Soldiers to the game’s mission creation system.

Check out that sweet Huffy.

To date, there have been over 50,000 user-created missions developed by the InFamous 2 community, reports the PS Blog. With that in mind, Sucker Punch has added a handy search feature to the UGC menu where you can filter missions by name or PSN user.

While I never got a chance to really sink my teeth into creating my own missions with InFamous 2’s UGC system, it is a brilliant idea to extend the life of the game. With so many players jumping aboard the concept, InFamous 2 is now a game in the same realm as LittleBigPlanet — both titles offer up players near limitless gameplay possibilities. And with this new free content pack, InFamous 2 is going to cast an even wider net.
