The latest short film to make the rounds in Hollywood, Seth Worley's Plot Device, is… um… making the rounds in Hollywood. Guess we should have thought that sentence out better. Anyway, the kinda awesome new short – about a wannabe filmmaker who buys a mysterious 'plot device' on Amazon, which transports him from one movie genre to another – has been making the rounds for a few weeks now and has garnered Worley some serious attention from Hollywood agencies like CAA and UTE, according to Hollywood Reporter.
You can watch the clever short below, which cost Worley $10,000. It's a funny, well-shot and all around excellent little film. We look forward to seeing more from this kid. If Worley plays his cards right he could be the next Neill Blomkamp or Fede Alvarez.
