Last Sunday, HBO brought us back to Bon Temps in the fourth season premiere of "True Blood;" which featured Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) discovering the dark side of her fairy heritage and barely escaping from the Fae Realm in the process.
But in a bigger twist, Sookie soon found that she had lost a year in the Fae Realm and lot of things were different. For example, her brother, Jason (Ryan Kwanten) is now a cop; her former lover Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) is the new Vampire King of Louisiana and his rival Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) is the new owner of Sookie's house.
Of course, Eric shared the news of his purchase by confronting Sookie just as she got out of the shower, shortly before he bared his fangs and declared ownership of her.
In the first of three preview clips released by HBO this week, Sookie rejects Eric advances before he gives her an offer that may be a veiled threat to her safety…
Pam (Kristen Bauer), Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) and Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack) are confronted by an angry group of anti-vampire protesters outside of Fangtasia, in the second preview clip.
The last clip shows us the moment that Sookie learns that Bill is the new Vampire King of Louisiana. And that's not all she learns…
HBO has also released a trailer and a synopsis for the second episode, "You Smell Like Dinner."
Tara and Sookie are back together to work on a real-estate issue. Bill and Eric discuss a local coven that could be a problem for the vampires. Jason is the recipient of some unconventional medical help. Sam discovers some things about Luna's demons. Jessica's cravings for human blood become stronger as she struggles to control them.
Don't miss the next episode of "True Blood," this Sunday night on HBO!
