Last year at Comic Con I was eating lunch with a group of colleagues when, lo and behold, David Hasselhoff drives by. Oh, not in a car, don't be ridiculous. He was on top of a bus doing a musical number with a bunch of scantily-dressed babes. I suspect he was promoting something, but maybe not. It's equally likely that this sort of thing is The Hoff's preferred mode of transportation. Hell… I'd prefer it. So say what you will about the guy, he's clearly a fun-loving dude. The fun is primed to continue with Piranha 3DD, the sequel to last year's Piranha 3D (which we kinda loved). Weird title, Piranha 3DD: 'Three-Dimensions Dimensions?" We don't…
OOOOOOooooooh… Touche, Piranha 3DD. Touche. Although if you think about it, that's a rather unusual cup size.
Hollywood Reporter reports that Hasselhoff will join a cast already comprised of returning cast members Christopher Lloyd, Paul Scheer and Ving Rhames, who we're pretty sure died in the last film… Fingers crossed for an, identical twin. Piranha 3D director Alexandre Aja will be replaced this time out with John Gulager, who previously directed one of the better gross-out horror comedies of the 2000's, the Project Greenlight winner Feast.
Crave Online will return with more Piranha 3DD news as it spawns.
