Montreal and Toronto will be treated to the first two stops on Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez's new joint tour, which they just announced.
According to The Canadian Press, it the first time the two musicians will be performing together.
When asked if she'd ever been to the Great White North while on a conference call with Iglesias, Lopez replied, "It might be, yeah. Canada, I don't think I've ever gone there, have I? Oh God. I don't remember." In fact, back at the end of 2007, the Latina singer graced the stages of Toronto and Montreal during her El Cantante tour with her ex-hubby and the father of their twins, Marc Anthony. Iglesias told Lopez on the same call, "You're gonna love it. I love Montreal. It's quite a city and then Toronto has always been good." He was here last February as part of his Euphoria Tour in Windsor, Ontario as well as Montreal.
"We probably share some fans, but (we're) definitely going to introduce each other to a whole other set of fans," Lopez told the CP. "It really is a gift for the fans to be able to see a few different artists they like or be exposed to a new artist."
The two performers will be in Canada beginning on July 14 and 15 with two concerts at the Bell Centre in Montreal, and they will follow that up with two shows at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on July 17 and 18.
