Electro veterans Orbital are streaming their eighth studio LP 'Wonky' in full online. The album is the first they've released in six years, the last one being 2004's The Blue Album.

The album has also been officially and physically released today (April 2) to positive reviews, with BBC Music labelling it a "fantastic return" and Drowned In Sound claiming that it's their best material "in 15 years". It was recorded in Brighton and features contributions from Zola Jesus and UK rap artist Lady Leshurr.

The album is led by the great title track, the video for which stars and was produced by comedian Matthew Horne. Band member Phil Hartnoll said of the fans' reaction to the single: "This is one of our key tracks from DJing last summer, one that came out of nowhere. We were so surprised by the reaction to this, it just went down really well.

"Right at the last minute we got Lady Leshurr to do her vocal, in one of our 'correction sessions' for the album, after we had been DJing it. It turned out brilliantly."

Orbital hung up their headphones in 2004, but staged a comeback in 2008 with a comeback tour and a series of festival, including a slot at Glastonbury in 2010 which famously included Doctor Who star Matt Smith joining them on stage for a (very surreal) impromptu collaboration.
