The Cypress Hill Smokeout Festival is going down this Saturday (March 3) at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino – featuring Sublime With Rome, Korn, Cypress Hill, Thievery Corporation, Wiz Khalifa, The Dirty Heads, Café Tacuba, Rusko and more. The best part: CraveOnline is hooking you up with tickets to the show!
The Smokeout fest, which will have two stages, includes over 20 artists and the Medical Marijuana Expo featuring “leading hemp industry exhibits and expert panel discussions” as well as a Patient Consumption Area for a “private and peaceful area for registered California medical marijuana patients.”
To win a pair of tickets to the show, simply follow @CraveMusic on Twitter, and shoot us a message with the hashtag #CraveSmokeOut. We'll pick the winner the morning of Friday, March 2!
Additionally, organizers of the Smokeout are planning a political protest and peaceful rally on March 1st against the recent Federal injustices against medical marijuana and the proposed local ban on MMJ in LA. Join B-Real and many more on the steps of City Hall and march with us to the Federal Building.
“The Cypress Hill SmokeOut is not only a music festival—it’s a movement,” notes B-Real. “The goal of its inception was to use the power of music to build a platform for supporters, advocates and fans to congregate and take a stand toward decriminalization. Every artist that has ever been a part of the SmokeOut bill has been selectively chosen not only for their incredible talent and art, but also for their passion for legalization and safe access to medicine. The artists’ have the ability to reach and educate their fans and followers in their respective communities including hip-hop, rock, Latin music or dance. It’s important we employ the collective voice of the music community and bring it to the medical marijuana debate. The SmokeOut for Safe Access rally serves as another podium and another step we need to take to further our success.”
Cypress Hill’s Smoke Out for Safe Access, a peaceful rally and march to oppose federal interference with medical cannabis, will meet on the west side of City Hall, 200 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. Patients and advocates will gather at City Hall at 4:00 PM, then march to the nearby federal building at 255 E. Temple Street for a peaceful, lively rally for safe access to medical cannabis.
