The next video in line from Foo Fighters‘ garage record Wasting Light is for "These Days," and the clip has finally arrived.

Directed by Wayne Isham, the video is a departure from the band's usual hilarious hijinks in their clips. This one is compiled from onstage action and behind-the-scenes footage of the group’s recent arena tour of Australia and New Zealand, creating a patchwork tapestry of the experience of the Foos on the road in support of the best album of 2011.

Early in the clip, we see Dave Grohl saying goodbye to his family in a few heartfelt moments as he departs for tour. We're then followed through several shows, backstage footage and more throughout the song's five minutes and change. Grohl's up to some hijinks in Hollywood these days, lining up sessions with a barrage of musicians for a film project about the Sound City studios in Los Angeles. We'll keep you posted as more news develops.
