Comedian Jon Stewart, the beloved host of Comedy Central's "Daily Show with Jon Stewart," will host a Q&A session with the surviving members of Nirvana next month to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough album Nevermind.
Stewart will host the event on SiriusXM for two hours on Sept. 24, an event that will feature surviving Nirvana bandmates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, as well as Butch Vig, the producer behind Nevermind. Fans will also be invited to take part in the experience, which will undoubtedly feature a compelling number of stories and reflections on the making and impact of the album that kicked off the grunge movement and changed rock music forever.
Nirvana's frontman, Kurt Cobain, committed suicide in 1994, at the height of the band's fame.
Nevermind has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, and features Nirvana's biggest hit, "Smells Like Teen Spirit". SiriusXM will also launch the all-Nirvana channel, Nevermind Radio, on Sept. 23 until Sept. 28.
