After years of developing a nasty reputation as being prima donnas and overdemanding rock stars, Kings Of Leon took unprofessionalism to a new low last night. Interestingly enough, the problem seems confined to frontman Caleb Followill.

According to several witness reports, the group walked offstage at their Dallas concert Friday night, after performing only a few songs. Lead singer Caleb was reportedly highly intoxicated at the concert, and after announcing "I’m gonna go backstage for a second, I’m gonna vomit, I’m gonna drink a beer, then I’m gonna come back out and play three more songs,” he left the stage, and that was the end of the show.

Watch the video below, in which you can see Mr. Followill's comments:

A short time later, it was announced that the show was cancelled, with groveling bassist Jared Followill leaving the following words ringing in the jilted ticketholders’ ears: “It’s not us, it’s Caleb that can’t play. I know you guys fucking hate us…. It’s not our fault, it’s Caleb, he can’t play the rest of the show. We will be back as soon as possible.”

After the incident, Caleb’s bandmates Nathan & Jared Followill tweeted apologies, stating that ”there are internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed” and ultimately ”the heat got the best of a few of us.”  The trigger words within those statements would seem to indicate substance issues. A trip to rehab and an apologetic posting on the band's official site seem likely at this point, though there's been no official statement from Caleb regarding the matter yet.
