This Is Why You Should Never Try To Remove Your Tattoo On Your Own

Well this is horrifying.

First of all, a heads up: This has some pretty graphic content that may turn your stomach. Now that we have that warning out of the way, let’s get started.

Everyone and their mom has a tattoo these days it seems. Some folks like to go with a basic tattoo you might find on Pinterest, some enjoy tattooing their eyeballs, and some folks just go ahead and get Tom Brady’s face on their ass. But whatever you do, just make sure you like it because if not you may have to get it removed. Just please don’t try to remove it yourself like this gal did.

Rather than go to a doctor to get the tattoo removed using laser, a woman named Pasuda Reaw decided to use a tattoo removal cream to get rid of the tattoo. This is the tattoo that Pasuda wanted to remove forever.

It seemed to be working at first…

And then Pasuda got a horrible infection…and well, this is pretty terrifying.

It gets worse, folks. So much worse.

And the tattoo eventually falls off.

And now Pasuda is left with a scar that looks like it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Yikes. Pasuda went ahead and shared the photos to warn others of the dangers of removing your own tattoo. So please, for the love of everything that is holy, just go to a doctor. Or just be 100% sure of the tattoo you’re getting.
