If you could pick one athlete to meet before you died, who would it be? LeBron James? Tom Brady? Albert Pujols? You’d think superstars of the major sports world would lead the list, but that’s not the case. The most sought-after jock is actually John Cena of WWE fame.

Apparently the pro-wrestling star is in high demand and has recently granted his 300th Make-A-Wish request to a 7-year-old boy from Pennsylvania. The incredibly significant number puts the generous Cena way ahead of some other extremely charitable athletes.

There are a good number of athletes who have granted around 200 wishes, such as Hulk Hogan, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon and Michael Jordon, with Kobe Bryant not too far behind with more than 100.

However, John Cena is on a mission to make it to 1,000 wishes granted. Getting to meet John Cena is such a popular request at Make-A-Wish that there is a whole conference room dedicated to him at the foundation’s headquarters.

Cena never says no to a request and he always goes above and beyond with each child he meets. He invites the kids and their families to Monday Night Raw with backstage access, signed memorabilia and face time with the other wrestlers.

“He has been a big supporter of us forever,” said Make-A-Wish national communications manager Mark Hiegel. “By this time next year, he’ll have 400.”
