The daughter of a Polish-Italian professor of economics (father) and a fashion designer (mother), Weronika spend a majority of her childhood traveling back and forth between the United States and Switzerland. It wasn't until 1990 that her family decided to move back home to Poland. It was around this time that Weronika began studying music, dancing and acrobatics. Of course, in between all of her studies, Weronika was landing acting gigs along the way. Her first official professional role on television was on the Polish series, "Klasa na obcasach." She then continued to act primarily in Polish television and film before making a grand entrance to U.S. audiences on the 2012 HBO series, "Luck," which starred veteran actor, Dustin Hoffman.
Since then, Weronika's career has blown up in the U.S., starring in three films, "The Iceman," "Stand Up Guys," and "Bullet to the Head," in 2012 alone. Her good fortune continued in 2013, when she was cast in both "Battle of the Year" and "Last Vegas," as well as on the TV series, "Hotel 52," in her native Poland. Her star has clearly just begun to rise, as she is bound to become one of the hottest actresses in town in no time.
