Rachel Stevens is an English singer, model and TV personality. She originally became famous as a member of S Club 7 before launching a successful solo career in 2003. She was also named FHM's Sexiest Woman Of All Time in 2014.
Rachel Lauren Stevens was born in Southgate, London, England on April 9, 1978. Growing up, she attended Osidge JMI School and Ashmole School in London. She would later go on to graduate from the London College of Fashion with a degree in business. After deciding that a career in public relations wasn't for her, she decided that it was finally time to pursue her singing career, a move which wound up paying off in a major way.
Like many famous singers before her, Rachel is not only a talented vocalist, but extremely beautiful at that. In fact, in 1993, before a career as a musical artist was even a thought in her mind, she went up against and beat 5,000 other competitors in a modeling contest put on by UK teen magazine Just 17. Her natural good looks would go on to play a big part in her musical career, too, as her career blew up upon joining S Club 7 and starring on their immensely popular series "S Club 7 in Miami."
S Club 7 went on to make three more TV series, release four albums, 11 singles, and even spawned the film "S Club Seeing Double" in 2003. That same year, the band broke up, but it then allowed Rachel to become a solo artist. She went on to release two solo albums of her own titled Funky Dory and Come and Get It. Along the way, she has also become a famous TV personality, and even competed on BBC's "Strictly Come Dancing" in 2008. Even though she finished second place overall, she still set the record for most perfect 10s ever achieved on the show.
