Lauren Storm is an American actress and former model. She is best known for her roles on the Discover Kids series "Flight 29 Down" and the film "I Love You, Beth Cooper."
Born in Chicago, Illinois on January 2, 1987, Lauren Marlene Storm seemed to have known she wanted to be an actress since not long after that. Born into a Jewish household to a magazine editor mother and dentist father, she started modeling by the time she was only 9 years old. She then went on to study at the Barbizon Modeling and Acting School of Chicago, graduating by the time she was 12. From there, is was on to a major talent competition in New York City, where the positive response she garnered from several talent agencies prompted her to move to Los Angeles in time for pilot season.
Sure enough, within six months of moving to L.A, Lauren landed her first credited acting gig on the TV series "Boston Public" in 2001. From there, she went on to make notable appearances on several other popular series including "Malcolm in the Middle," "24," and "7th Heaven." By 2005, her acting career gained major momentum when she was cast in a starring role on the Discovery Kids series "Flight 29 Down," playing the Taylor character for two years. Since then, success has continued to follow Lauren, as she's gone on to star in several features including "The Game Plan," "Whore" alongside Megan Fox, and most notably "I Love You, Beth Cooper."
Known for more than just acting and modeling, Lauren is also heavily involved with multiple charity organizations. Along with being a strong supporter of the Make a Wish Foundation, St. Jude Children's Hospital, the Jonathan Jaques Cancer Walk, Ronald McDonald House Charities, The LA Mission, and Project Angelfood, she's also on the Board of Directors with Kids With A Cause and the Olive Crest Foundation. To top it all off, Lauren is a StarPower Ambassador for the Starlight Children's Foundation, as well.
