Olympic Beach Volleyball Starts Friday Night!

The sexiest sport in the Olympics might be 'covered' up more this year, but God bless America, our girls have vowed to keep the bikinis. Just in case, we have this weekend's opening schedule.

A new rule is being instituted at this year's London Olympics in which female beach volleyball players now have the option to wear shorts and a t-shirt while playing for their country. While the rule was brought in to encourage more modest countries to participate, our ladies from the States told the New York Post that they don't plan on ditching their bikinis — thank God.

“We’re not uncomfortable in our bikinis,” said Jen Kessy.

“Growing up in southern California, that’s what you wear from when you’re a little kid to now in the summertime.”

Misty May-Treanor told The Post that she loves nothing more than to compete in her tiny swimwear, stating, “what you see is what you get — there’s no airbrushing…I grew up on the beach, grew up in a bikini."

T-shirts or bikinis, I know I'm going to take my chances on trying to catch a glimpse of the sexiest sport on planet earth this weekend when I can.

Below are the scheduled times for all the beach volleyball being shown on television this opening weekend of the Olympics — including Monday; because we all know girls hitting balls in bikinis is worth ditching work.

You're welcome.
