The Reign of the Cyborg Supermen has hit close to home for Supergirl, since the Cyborg Superman is none other than her own father, Zor-El!
The DC Universe Rebirth era has given the Girl of Steel a status quo that isn’t too far away from the one that she enjoys on The CW’s Supergirl series. She’s got a new secret identity as Kara Danvers, the adopted daughter of two DEO agents. However, her life in this world is infinitely more complicated, and she doesn’t have her cousin to rely on. One way or another, it’s all on Kara’s shoulders now.
In CraveOnline’s exclusive preview for Supergirl # 6, Kara makes one final appeal for peace and sanity. But she’s done asking, and she’s ready to step up and be the hero that this planet needs, even if she has to go through her father to save the day.
Supergirl # 6 was written by Steve Orlando and drawn by Brian Ching, with colors by Michael Atiyeh. Here’s the official description from DC Comics:
“REIGN OF THE CYBORG SUPERMEN” finale! Argo City is on a collision course with Earth and the Girl of Steel is the only hero that can stop it! Cyborg Superman and Kara Zor-El clash in a cataclysmic final battle that leaves only one standing!
DC will release Supergirl # 6 on Wednesday, February 8 in comic book stores everywhere.
